Who is Krista
What a loaded question... well, I am a loving wife to a wonderful and must say, very supportive husband. I am a mother of one daughter who is five and a half years old and one son who is three and a half years old. I have been a scrap booker for more than seven years and have become addicted to my hobby. I love scrap booking because it allows me to capture not just a photo moment but to tell a story with my photos. Now, having children, It has made me think of the future . I want my children to reflect back to their childhood and be able to share their memories with their own children. It’s a wonderful way to preserve the past!!

I had been an in home rubber stamp and scrapbook demonstrator for over two years. I loved meeting new people and sharing ideas. Becoming a demonstrator had allowed me to meet my business partner Laura. We have very similar interests and goals for ourselves. We both share the love of scrap booking and card making and decided we needed to take our hobby to the next level. Thus, the development of Sweet Sentiments…scrap booking and more!

Who is Laura
Hi! My name is Laura Essensa. I am so very excited to open Sweet Sentiments and to be able to provide you with the industries latest and greatest in scrapbook and card making supplies. I hope to be able to share my knowledge of stamping and paper craft with you through classes and our idea centre.

I have been stamping and scrapbooking for over 8 years. I started slowly, but once the momentum started I was hooked. I was first introduced to the addiction through an at home workshop my sister in-law hosted. I really enjoy making cards and using the ideas to cross over into my scrapbook.

On a personal note, I have been married to my husband for 10 years and we have been blessed with an amazing little girl. Erika is the joy in our lives, and therefore turns up in most of my layouts. When I am not scrapbooking, working, or spending time with my family; I love to travel, and go for bike rides. Although I don't get the opportunity as often these days, my husband and I have plans to make this a regular part of our lives once we get settled.
